LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some new restaurants are coming to south Louisville.

Derby City Pizza, LongHorn Steakhouse, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Crumbl Cookies will open locations along Dixie Highway after receiving grants from the new $1 million Dixie Highway Restaurant Incentive Fund.

"These investments create jobs, new places for families, friends, and neighbors to gather, and new reasons for people to spend their time and dollars in the South End," Mayor Craig Greenberg said. "We're delivering results that meet the needs of this community, and we're just getting started."

  • LongHorn Steakhouse will be located at 7401 Dixie Highway
  • Crumbl Cookies will be located at 10970 Dixie Highway
  • Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be located at 8700 Dixie Highway
  • Derby City Pizza will expand its current location at 12900 Dixie Highway and add an event center and game yard.

The fund will remain open and available to support new or additional restaurants in south Louisville.

It was launched in September as part of the broader $3 million South End Loan and Incentive Fund.
