LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Calling all LEGO lovers! There will soon be a new one-stop shop for all your LEGO needs in Louisville.
Bricks & Minifigs Highlands will open on Dec. 7 at 1328 Bardstown Road, specializing in the buying, selling and trading of new and used LEGO sets, bricks and minifigures.
The store will also have an event space to hold birthday parties or special LEGO-themed events like after-school activities and corporate workshops.
“I’m very excited to bring the Bricks & Minifigs experience to the area,” Quentin Miles Stephenson, Bricks & Minifigs franchisee and Highlands resident, said. “LEGO® is an ageless toy that appeals not only to children, but also to parents, grandparents, and anyone who enjoys creative expression through those little plastic bricks.”
The store's grand opening starts at 11 a.m. on Dec. 7. The first 100 customers will receive a free customized "Bricks & Minifigs Highlands" minifig torso, and the first 50 customers will receive a special holiday gift. There will also be other giveaways throughout the day.
Bricks & Minifigs, founded in Portland, Oregon in 2009, is the largest franchised LEGO toy store with stores in the U.S. and Canada.
