LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new pop-up holiday bar is set to open this Friday in Louisville.
Merry will be located at the Marriott Hotel on West Jefferson Street downtown, where the lobby will be transformed into a winter wonderland.
The pop-up bar will have a special holiday menu with some unique cocktails, including a peppermint espresso martini, snowflake martini, gingerbread old fashioned, Eddie's Bourbon Eggnog and more.
There will also be food options, including a Cheesy Charcuterie Board with a cheese ball centerpiece. The hotel will also have its usual food menu available.
Starting this Friday, Nov. 22, Merry at the Marriott will be open daily from 3 p.m. to midnight through Dec. 29. You don't have to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy the holiday pop-up.
The Marriott Downtown is also participating in the Salvation Army Annual Red Kettle Campaign, which started last week. Officials said the hotel will be the first and only in downtown Louisville to participate in the initiative this year. The donation site will be set up outside of the hotel's Porch Kitchen & Bar.
