LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Shelbyville Plaza in St. Matthews.
The elves from Zeppa's Landscaping were out and about setting up two large trees on Monday, which will shine from the plaza's parking lot.Â
The crew wears the elf outfits whenever they set up a light display, including one at WDRB.Â
Crews said Monday the trees were supposed to go up last Thursday, but the work was delayed because of rain.Â
The larger of the two trees will have more than 30,000 lights.Â
Zeppa's Landscaping said the weeks before and after Thanksgiving are their busiest.Â
Crews will ditch the elf costumes for Grinch costumes when it's time for them to take the lights down.
