LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Parking Authority of River City will increase rates for monthly reserved, unreserved and residential parking rates starting July 1.

PARC board approved the 2026 fiscal year's operations budget, which includes a $5 rate increase for monthly reserved, unreserved, and residential parking rates across PARC facilities, according to a news release.

PARC will notify monthly parkers June 1 in accordance with the 30-day notice policy. The rate increase addresses operational needs, according to a news release.

It is the first increase in monthly parking rates since Jan. 2023 when a state-mandated 6% excise tax was added.

Daily parking rates will remain unchanged.
