LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new doughnut shop opened its doors in southern Indiana on Saturday.
Parlor Doughnuts opened its first location in Jeffersonville at 3060 Gottbrath Parkway, just past the roundabout off 10th Street. The grand opening went from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The bakery has a drive-thru and dine-in seating. On Saturday morning, there was a line waiting outside before the store opened.
"We're excited to immerse ourselves into the community, the goal we're trying to provide to the community is a place of connection," said owner Grant Welp. "Overwhelming support, we're pretty excited about the donut lovers we have here."
The menu features 30 different varieties and offers gluten-free, vegan and keto options. In addition to doughnuts, other breakfast foods like acai bowls, avocado toast, sandwiches, tacos and café beverages are on the menu.
Welp said he plans to open at least three more locations across the Louisville area.
