LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There's a new Planet Fitness coming to town.
The fitness giant will open its 16th Louisville location in the Gardiner Lane Shopping Center, at the former sites of Rite Aid Pharmacy and Rocky's Pizza and Panini. The center will have cardio and strength equipment, a 30-minute circuit area, free fitness training and tanning.
Black Card perks will also be available, including HydroMassage chairs.
"The Bardstown Road location is expected to begin selling memberships in February," explained Ken Horn, the marketing manager for Planet Fitness. "However, members can join any other local Planet Fitness, begin using that club and transfer membership once the Bardstown Road club opens."
The Planet Fitness location plans to open its doors in the Spring. Memberships will start at $10 a month.
