LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — More renovations are coming to Louisville's second-largest building.Â
PNC Bank, Louisville's largest bank, is upgrading offices in its namesake downtown building, PNC Tower, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
The bank will invest $1 million to renovate the third, fourth, fifth and 37th floors of the building at 101 S. 5th St., including demolition, new partitions, ceilings, millwork, lighting, electrical and plumbing.Â
Renovations are expected to start this summer.
The upgrades come five months after the bank renewed its lease at PNC Tower, adding 10 years to the current terms. PNC retail branch is on the ground floor of the tower.
PNC Tower, built in 1972, is occupied by many different tenants employing more than 300 people.Â
Earlier this year, Yum! Brands announced a $12 million renovation to five floors of the PNC Tower as it relocates its headquarters to downtown after signing a 10-year lease in October 2025.
