LANESVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana business owner creates unique bourbon barrel Jack-o'-Lanterns, and he's already sold one in every state across the country!
Rodney Green -- known as the "Hoosier Wood Guy" -- specializes in creating unusual bourbon barrel designs.
He started carving Jack-o'-Lantern designs on bourbon barrels last year, and has already sold 98 of them to local distilleries, businesses and people all over the country. This year he's on pace to beat that number.
"We use retired bourbon, rum, and wine barrels, and each one makes a different look," Green said. "We have made these for events around Louisville like the Ultimate Halloween Parade Festival put on by Michael Book."
Green said no two Jack-o'-Lantern designs are alike, because each carving and laser design is unique.
The Jack-o'-Lantern bourbon barrels sell for $170 each, and can be purchased and picked up at Green’s home in Lanesville, Ind.
