LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After the lineup for Bourbon & Beyond was released this week, a celebration party was held in Nulu on Saturday.

The four-day music festival in Louisville shared its lineup on Wednesday featuring Zach Bryan, Dave Matthews Band, Tyler Childers, Neil Young, Beck, Matchbox Twenty, The National, My Morning Jacket and The War on Drugs.

Doris Sims, senior vice president of business development for Danny Wimmer Presents, said the lineup is the perfect mix.

"We've gone back to the more Americana, the country, the classic rock and blues. Having Tyler Childers here, a Kentuckian, is phenomenal," Sims said. "Our sales for the first week are better than they have ever been before. It's really about that perfect balance of talent. We know people come for the music, but we want them to stay for the bourbon and fall in love with Louisville."

On Saturday, Taj hosted a celebration party for the music festival. Attendees purchased service fee-free passes and people could also enter to win free passes to the music festival.

There were special craft cocktails featuring Bourbon & Beyond partners, a photo booth and a DJ.

"It's a great opportunity to celebrate the locals," Sims said. "We wanted to have an event where the locals can celebrate with us."

The event goes until midnight.

Bourbon & Beyond previously announced it would add two more stages and about 40 more bands to this year's festival, as well as an expanded culinary and bourbon experience from Chris Santos, Ed Lee, Chris Blandford and Amanda Freitag.

The annual festival regularly brings tens of thousands of people to the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center. There will be more than 100 music artists performing at the four-day festival.

Bourbon & Beyond is scheduled for Sept. 19-22 this year.
