LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Transit Authority of River City announced the debut of its MyTARC Mobile app on Tuesday, which allows customers to buy tickets through their smartphone.
To use the mobile ticketing, customers can download the Token Transit App and search for TARC. All standard passes, including everything from the single trip to 30 days passes, are available there.
The app will also allow riders to buy 24-hour, seven-day or 30-day passes as well as passes for the whole family.
To ride, passengers will just scan the barcode on their phone on the farebox scanner.
Single-ride tickets through the app are $1.50, a 25-cent discount from the regular price.
