LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- UPS plans to hire more than 2,600 seasonal employees in Louisville ahead of the holiday rush.

In a news release Tuesday, the shipping giant said that number will exceed 100,000 nationwide, and nearly 80% of all the new seasonal hires won't require an interview.

UPS needs full- and part-time employees, mostly of which are package handlers and delivery drivers. The seasonal hourly pay rates range from $21 per hour for package handlers to $23 per hour for drivers.
