LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Looking for a job? UPS is gearing up for the holiday season and is looking for seasonal workers ahead of the holiday rush.
The company's "Brown Friday" hiring events are scheduled to start this week as it looks to hire more than 1,900 seasonal employees in Louisville.
Positions include package handlers at $21 an hour, seasonal support drivers at $23 an hour, plus mileage reimbursement, and driver helpers at $18.40 an hour. UPS is also hiring full-time and permanent feeder drivers, starting at $23 an hour.
This Friday's hiring event is "Candy Land-themed." It takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the UPS Center for Employment Opportunities at 8203 National Turnpike.
Those interested in attending one of the hiring fairs can look at open jobs, submit applications and make an appointment for one of the events by clicking here. Officials said making an appointment is optional, but helps secure a spot. If you can't attend one of the events, the company said you can still apply online.
Hiring events will also be held Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days, also at the UPS Center for Employment Opportunities.
