LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Kentucky bourbon company is partnering with luxury designers ahead of the Kentucky Derby.
The Woodford Reserve Flavor Notes collection will be designed by Sergio Hudson and Anifa Mvuemba, who have designed for Michelle Obama and Beyoncé. The collaboration will debut at the 150th Kentucky Derby.
According to a news release, Hudson and Mvuemba plan to attend the Kentucky Derby. The Flavor Notes collection brings Woodford Reserve's flavor notes to life and showcases how its bourbon is a spectacle for the senses, officials said.
"Woodford Reserve brings substance and style to everything we do," Woodford Reserve Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall said in a news release. "These fashion statements from Sergio and Anifa are an extension of the bourbon lifestyle in a luxurious way."
Hudson, an American designer, focuses on making women feel beautiful, glamorous, and confident through his ready-to-wear luxury clothing line. Mvuemba is the CEO and founder of Hanifa, a luxury ready-to-wear womenswear label.
