LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new shopping center is officially open in south Louisville.
City leaders cut the ribbon to celebrate the grand opening of Cedar Creek Crossing Friday afternoon.
The shopping center is on Bardstown Road in Fern Creek. It features several retailers and restaurants, such as Chicken Salad Chick, First Watch, and a Hot Worx.
"This 43,000-square-foot development is unbelievable," Metro Councilperson Robin Engel, R-22, said. "What 230 cars are going to potentially be parked out here, if my notes are correct. Fern Creek is honored."
Most shops in the center are already open. The final few are wrapping up construction, set to open next year.
