LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Clark County is taking measures to make sure ambulance services don't suffer after a loss of workforce at New Chapel EMS.
The county is monitoring the response times and posting them on the health department website. The health department said a prolonged response has only happened once since June 1.
Clark County is also using alternative providers to help with transfers and non-urgent responses.
New Chapel has been tied to controversy after its former CEO and Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel was charged with using fire department money for personal use.
