LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 33-year-old man who was shot and killed near Preston Highway last week has been identified.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner, Lajuante Lane was identified as the victim of the shooting on June 14 in the 5500 block of Woodcross Place.
LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police responded to a call of a shooting around 3:12 a.m. and found Lane, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, and as of this writing, there are no known suspects.
