LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One of the biggest retirement parties ever held in Louisville has netted nearly a quarter of a million dollars for children's charities.
Radio legend Coyote Calhoun retired from WAMZ after 35 years.
On Dec. 3, a "who's who" of country artists took part in a sold-out concert in Calhoun's honor at the KFC Yum! Center. Performers included Toby Keith, Little Big Town, Montgomery Gentry, and others.
The $245,000 raised will go to several children's charities.
