SEYMOUR, Ind. (WDRB) --Ā An attempt to avoiding a coyote was the cause ofĀ a car to crash,Ā Thursday night, thatĀ injured two people.
In Seymour, Indiana State Police sayĀ an SUV swerved to avoid a coyote crossing the highway.
Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle, hit a sign, then a utility pole, and a parked tractor in a field.
When going through a ditch, police say a passenger was ejected. She was taken to a hospital in Indianapolis for head injuries.
A 5-year-old child had stomach and head injuries.
The driver and the 5-year-old's twin wereĀ not injured.
