LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Jeffersonville, Indiana, men were arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of child sex abuse material after separate unrelated investigations.
Jeffersonville Police said in a statement that detectives began two unrelated investigations in May 2025 on men who were possibly using the internet to share child porn.
Police executed two search warrants on July 22 at separate residences within The Woods Apartment Complex in Jeffersonville.
Detectives seized multiple items of digital evidence at both locations. This resulted in the arrests of 47-year-old Frederick Capps and 46-year-old Colin Ritter, both of Jeffersonville.
They were both charged with multiple counts of child sex abuse material and additional charges might be filed.
Police said there's no indication that Capps and Ritter were connected in any way.
