LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 21-year-old man from St. Louis was arrested after going 130 mph and crashing into another vehicle on Interstate 64 on Saturday night, according to Indiana State Police.

An ISP trooper clocked a 2015 Infiniti going 95 mph on I-64 in Posey County at 7:05 p.m., according to police. The trooper tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver, Amir Tuzlakovic, accelerated at a high rate of speed.

According to police, Tuzlakovic's vehicle was soon thereafter recorded going 130 mph on I-64 eastbound. The speeding vehicle exited the highway at the Poseyville exit, drove left of center on SR 165 exit ramp and then hit a 1997 Ford F250 pickup truck, according to police.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 52-year-old man from Owensville, had to be extricated from the truck. He was taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital, but ISP did not release the man's condition.

Tuzlakovic was arrested and taken to the Posey County Jail. He was charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and causing serious bodily injury, criminal recklessness with a vehicle and reckless driving causing injury.

Tuzlakovic is currently being held on bond.
