LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 25-year-old Bullitt County man was found guilty of murder.
Cruz Frescas was convicted of shooting 36-year-old Derrick Franks and dragging his body along Dixie Highway.
According to Hardin County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy David Lee, Franks, 36, of Radcliff was shot in the face in March 2024. His body was found in the 5000 block of North Dixie Highway between the city limits of Elizabethtown and Radcliff.

Lee said the shooting happened in a car driven by Frescas. Investigators believe Franks' body was dragged from inside the car as Frescas drove away.
His sentencing is set for next month.
