LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 27-year-old man was arrested by Charlestown Police Friday evening and charged with stabbing a man at an apartment complex.
Chuck Ledbetter, a detective for Charlestown Police, said officers responded to the 700 block of Main Street around 5 p.m. on a reported stabbing.
Police found a 23-year-old man, who was a resident of the apartments, stabbed in the neck/facial area. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he had surgery and is now stable, police said.
A block away from the scene, police found a 27-year-old man matching a description of the suspect. Police arrested Ryan Fox, of Charlestown, and charged him with attempted murder and burglary, burglary with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, battery and criminal recklessness.
The incident remains under investigation.
