LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man who died after a shooting in the Taylor Berry neighborhood Tuesday night was identified by authorities Thursday.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, William Kannamore, 31, died from the shooting.
Officers with the Louisville Metro Police Department were called to the 3300 block of Utah Avenue at 9:22 p.m. on a reported shooting, department spokesman Sgt. Matt Sanders said in a statement.
Once on scene, police found Kannamore, who had been shot multiple times.Â
Sanders said officers rendered aid, applying a chest seal and tourniquet. The man was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition and into surgery. Sanders said in an update just before 11 p.m. Tuesday that Kannamore had died.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but there are no known suspects and have been no arrests.Â
