LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 46-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and charged with the shooting of a woman last week in Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police said officers arrested Timothy Cross and charged him with second-degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and first-degree criminal mischief.
According to LMPD, the shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. June 11. Officers called to the 5000 block of Kaufman Lane in the St. Denis neighborhood said they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to UofL Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Police said in court documents Cross shot the woman in the arm, which caused "additional injuries to her neck."Â
