LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man shot and killed in Louisville's east end has been identified.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting Jan. 28 in the 8800 block of Malvern Hill Road, just off Westport Road, at 2:25 p.m. Once police arrived on scene, they found a man inside a home who had been shot.
He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, but he later died.
The man was identified Saturday by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office as 19-year-old Davion Charles.
Police had arrested a man in connection to the incident Tuesday night, but upon further investigation, the man was not charged with murder. Police did not release any other information, but said "all parties remain accounted for."
