LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities arrested a woman in Louisville in connection to an armed bank robbery in Washington County.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office said Sherrie Knox was arrested Thursday morning in Louisville.
She was found driving a black 2009 Honda Fit seen on surveillance video being used in the bank robbery Wednesday at Springfield State Bank in Willsburg, Kentucky.
Knox allegedly confessed her involvement in the robbery to deputies with the Nelson County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said they found half of the money stolen in Knox's possession. The Washington County Sheriff's Office said additional arrests are pending as the investigation continues.
