LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A JCPS teacher pled not guilty Friday morning to having "sexual conversations" with one of her students.

According to her arrest citation, Louisville Metro Police detectives were contacted by Jefferson County Public Schools Police after Sydne Graf was reported to have "engaged in sexual conversations" with the student during an NTI day on Dec. 15.

Graf is a fifth-grade teacher at Smyrna Elementary School, according to JCPS.

LMPD detectives reviewed the conversations between Graf and the student, which included discussions of oral sodomy with the student. According to police, Graf planned to meet up with the student later but was arrested while picking him up near his home.

JCPS said Graf will be reassigned to a position that won't allow her to have contact with students during this investigation.

Graf was charged with procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means, and a judge issued her a $100,000 bond.
