LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Authorities released the name of the man who died in a shooting near Valley Station in Louisville on Christmas Day.
Thursday, Louisville police responded to the 6600 block of Skyline Drive just before 6:30 p.m., Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement. That's off Ashby Lane, not far from Valley Station Road.
Once on scene, police found a man who had been shot, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, Ellis said.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. Ellis said investigators believe "all parties" are accounted for.
It's unclear at this time whether anyone has been charged in connection to the shooting.
