LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man shot and killed in Louisville's Portland neighborhood early Tuesday morning has been identified.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Drew Allgood, 27, died from a gunshot wound.
Louisville Metro Police responded to the reported shooting in the 400 block of North 22nd Street just after midnight, department spokesman Aaron Ellis said in a statement.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside a home who had been shot.
First aid was given until EMS arrived on scene, but the victim died at the scene, according to Ellis.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. There are no known suspects.
