LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Hardin County, Kentucky, student is facing disciplinary action after making a threat against a middle school school.
In a social media post, the Hardin County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday they received information about a possible threat at Bluegrass Middle School in Elizabethtown.
The sheriff's office said in the post the school's resource deputy quickly began investigating, and identified the student who made the threat. Police said at no time were students or staff in any danger.
The student is facing consequences according to the Hardin County Schools code of acceptable behavior/discipline.
The sheriff's office asked parents to explain to their children that a threat is not a joke, and there will be consequences for making any.
