LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The woman charged with killing her 5-year-old son and putting his body in a suitcase has lost a legal fight.

A judge dismissed the lawsuit filed in May by Dejaune Anderson against Washington County Clerk Stephanie Rockey.

In the lawsuit, Anderson claimed Rockey was mishandling her case, committing fraud and withholding court documents.

The judge dismissed the lawsuit, and denied her other requests — such as a new judge.

Anderson has been held in the Washington County Detention Center since her arrest in Arcadia, California, — outside Los Angeles — on a murder warrant in March after being on the run for almost two years.

Since her first court appearance, where she declared her name was "princess" and that she was "representing the entity" of Anderson, she has been fighting to represent herself.

In addition to the murder charge for her son, Cairo Jordan, she was also charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death and obstruction of justice.

In April, Washington County Circuit Judge Larry Medlock asked for a mental evaluation of Anderson to determine her competency to stand trial on those charges. That order came after Anderson's strange first court appearance on April 2, where she made some bizarre comments to Medlock, including a claim she's under federal surveillance. She also gave an alias to the judge, said she wants to represent herself in the case, and said a Space Force military detail has been following her everywhere she goes.

Anderson is the second woman charged in her son's murder. Dawn Coleman pleaded guilty in November 2023. She's serving a 30 year sentence.
