LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man accused of killing a Louisville woman who was missing nearly a week before her body was found was in court Monday afternoon.

U.S. Marshals arrested Jamie Shelby last week in Jeffersonville for the murder of Tasha White. Police say the two were in a relationship.

During Monday's arraignment, the judge entered a not guilty plea on Shelby's behalf and set his bond at $1,000,000 cash.

White's family reported her missing on May 1. Her family said her car, wallet, ID and cellphone were found at her home, but her keys were missing and the cameras at her home were off, which they said was unusual.

White was found shot to death less than a week later near Buechel.

Shelby is charged with murder-domestic violence, robbery and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 8.
