LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A judge set a $250,000 bond Wednesday during a court appearance for a man charged in a July murder in Old Louisville.Â
Desmond Shaw is facing several charges, including murder, assault and gun theft. Police said he shot and killed Jaron Starling on July 22 at 4th and Oak streets in the parking lot of a laundromat.
Two women were also hurt in the shooting.
U.S. Marshals arrested Shaw on Aug. 30 in Coffeeville, Mississippi, and then extradited him to Louisville.
Shaw is due back in court Sept. 26.Â
