LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man charged with shooting a man several times in downtown Louisville last month was arraigned Wednesday on several charges, including attempted murder. 

Christopher Johnson was arrested on Jan. 2 by a SWAT team, after detectives obtained a search warrant for a house in the 5400 block of Sir Barton Road in Valley Station.

The shooting happened Dec. 20 at 8th and Liberty streets, near Louisville Metro Corrections. LMPD originally reported that the victim was shot right outside the jail at 6th and Liberty, later learned the shooting actually happened at 8th and Liberty.

The victim is expected to survive according to police. 

Johnson is charged with attempted murder, robbery, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. The judge set his bond at $75,000.
