LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man connected to a shooting in downtown Louisville was arrested in Valley Station on Tuesday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.

LMPD spokesperson Sgt. Matt Sanders said police arrested Christopher T. Johnson, 32, without incident on Tuesday.

Johnson is connected to a shooting that happened at 8th and Liberty streets on Dec. 20, 2023, according to Sanders.

Detectives applied for and were granted a search warrant for a home in the 5400 block of Sir Barton Road in connection to the case.

Johnson was charged with attempted murder, criminal mischief, robbery and possession of a handgun by convicted felon. He was booked in Louisville Metro Corrections.
