LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A juvenile is recovering in the hospital after being shot in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood Tuesday night.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a shooting a little before 9:15 p.m. in the 3700 block of West Market Street, near Amy Avenue, according to LMPD spokesperson Sgt. Matt Sanders.
Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile male who had been shot in the upper leg and buttocks, Sanders said.
The juvenile was transported to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive, Sanders said.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
