LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A non-fatal shooting on Monday evening has Louisville Metro Police officials investigating.
According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers responded to a call of a reported shooting around 11:45 p.m. in the area of North 26th and Bank Street.
Upon arrival, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was alert and conscious as he was transported to University Hospital.
His injuries were believed to be non-life threatening, according to Ellis.
The next morning, LMPD responded to a reported shooting around 1:30 a.m. at Spinelli's in the Phoenix Hill neighborhood.
Officers located a man suffering from a graze gunshot wound in his arm when they arrived, according to Ellis.
EMS was called to the scene, but the man refused medical treatment.
Upon investigation, detectives learned that the shooting did not happen at the business and that the victim showed up there.
He was connected to the shooting from a few hours prior at North 26th and Bank Street.
Ellis said all parties are accounted for and LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation.
