LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot in the Clifton Heights neighborhood early Wednesday.Â
It happened around 6 a.m., according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police. That's when officers from LMPD's Fifth Division responded to a shooting report in 2000 block of Brownsboro Road. That's near the Brownsboro Plaza.Â
Responding officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He received first aid until EMS arrived and took him to UofL Hospital. He was alert and conscious, and his injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening, according to the release.Â
