LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man is charged with robbery and tampering with physical evidence after he allegedly robbed a DoorDash driver delivering pizza Thursday night.

Police said 20-year-old Jorien Thomas pulled a gun on the delivery driver on Turnpike View Drive in Okolona as she was dropping off $126 worth of pizza.

Police said Thomas confronted the driver and ran off with the food. Officers found him in the backseat of a car at a nearby apartment complex.

Officers said he admitted robbing the driver and told them he "had to do what he had to do to eat."
