LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man shot early Saturday in Owen County has died, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers were called to a reported shooting in Monterey around 2 a.m. Saturday and found Jamar Douglas, 26, with multiple gunshot wounds, KSP said in a news release.
Douglas was taken to University of Kentucky Hospital with life-threatening injuries. KSP said he passed away just after 1 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators allege Douglas was shot by Gary Bullion, 52, from Ghent, Kentucky. Bullion was arrested on multiple charges, which were upgraded following Douglas' death.
Bullion is being held at the Carroll County Detention Center on charges of murder, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
