LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police have arrested four people accused in a violent robbery that left a man badly beaten.
Deshawn Cleaver, 30, Stephon Cleaver, 22, Louis Jones, 38, and Misty Slater, 37, are facing robbery and other charges.
When officers responded to a robbery call near 40th and Hale streets Saturday afternoon, they found a man who had been beaten.
Police said the suspects stole the victim's vehicle, wallet and phone.
The man was taken to the hospital.
Police eventually tracked the stolen vehicle down and found it parked behind the Budgetel Inn on Bardstown Road. Police said they found the suspects inside a room and arrested them.
All four appeared in court on Monday, pleading not guilty, and are due back in court on June 18.
