LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in the Russell neighborhood on Sunday morning.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said police responded to a person down in the roadway at 18th Street and Muhammad Ali Boulevard at 8:57 a.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who was dead.
Police confirmed duct tape was found on the body.
Mitchell said the man had gunshot wounds. On Sunday, LMPD's Homicide Unit was investigating the incident and waited for the determination of death from the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.
On Monday, it was ruled a homicide investigation. Police believe the man was killed at another location.
