LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police said they're investigating an "officer-involved shooting" Thursday afternoon in Hurstbourne Acres.

Around 2 p.m., Louisville Metro Police officers responded to the 9000 block of Red Deer Circle, just northwest of Hurstbourne Parkway and Taylorsville Road. 

LMPD said there's a "heavy police presence" in the area but no threat to the public. No other details about the shooting were shared as of 3:15 p.m.
