LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police is investigating after a male was shot and killed by police in Allen County.
According to Kentucky State Police, the shooting happened on New Buck Creek Road on Saturday around 5:10 p.m. Police were trying to find a person believed to be involved in a vehicle pursuit in Simpson County that occurred at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The male who was shot by police died at the scene. A Simpson County Sheriff's Deputy was taken to the hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries. The deputy is stable, according to police.
