LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was arrested Monday night after a shooting in Louisville's Portland neighborhood.
Police were called to the 100 block of South 30th Street on a ShotSpotter run around 7:15 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man outside with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The man was alert and conscious, and was transported to University Hospital where he is expected to survive.
Police later arrested Trevor Thompson, 32, on one count of assault.
An arrest report says the shooting happened during an argument between family members. Thompson's relation to the victim is not known at this time.
Thompson is expected in court Tuesday morning.
