LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- A man faces multiple charges after leading deputies on a high-speed motorcycle chase across county lines Saturday night.
The Nelson County Sheriff's Office said Sgt. Steven Quire was conducting speed enforcement on J.T. Riggs Road when he spotted a speeding motorcycle.
When Quire tried to pull the rider over, the motorcyclist took off — leading deputies on a 6-mile chase into Marion County.
Deputies identified the rider as Frank Livers. He pulled into a driveway, reached toward his waistband and was tased before being taken into custody.
Deputies later found 62 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a scale.
Livers faces multiple charges, including fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment of a police officer, trafficking in methamphetamine, and operating on a suspended license.
