LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was arrested and charged with murder following a shooting in Shelby County on Friday.
Michael Hunt, 32, of Shelbyville, is being charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, officers received a call of a possible shooting in the Cropper area.
When officers arrived, they found one woman who was dead and another with life threatening injuries.
EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Hunt is being held at the Shelby County Detention Center. Police said Hunt, his wife and mother-in-law all lived at the home. Police said Hunt's wife is in critical condition and his mother-in-law is dead. Her name hasn't been released yet.
