LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man who was hospitalized after a shooting near the Dairy Kastle on Eastern Parkway on March 30 died from his injuries Saturday.
Matthew Sanders, a spokesperson for LMPD, said officers responded on a reported shooting in the corner of Eastern Parkway and Bradley Avenue just before 5:30 p.m.
Police found a man who had been shot in the abdomen, and he was taken to UofL Hospital. According to police, the man who's believed to be in his late 20s, was in "critical condition."
Sanders said police believe a suspect fled westbound on foot and passed the White Castle in the area.
Police said in an update Saturday that the victim died from his injuries.
