LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was found dead Tuesday morning in a parking lot on Preston Highway.

LMPD officers responded to a man found unresponsive in the 5700 block of Preston Highway in Newburg around 10:30 a.m. That's about a half mile from Fern Valley Road.

Police found a man dead once they arrived on scene. 

LMPD's Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation pending the results from the post mortem examination.
